Twins charged with Slough firearms offences

Two men, who are twin brothers, appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court on 11/12 charged with firearms offences.

Christian Briandt and Emile Briandt, both aged 26, from Wellington Street, Slough, were each charged with one count of possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence, one count of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and one count of grievous bodily harm with intent.

They were remanded in custody until 19 March 2009, when they will appear at Reading Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing.

The charges relate to an alleged incident at a KFC takeaway restaurant in Bath Road, Cippenham, at about 10.45pm on 21 October 2008.
