STEPS 2 Slough Employment new job club

Slough Borough Council is inviting residents who are either unemployed, graduates, been made redundant or fearing redundancy, and would like practical advice and guidance, to a free job club.

The new job club, in addition to the one in Slough, will be held at the Langley Library every Monday from the February 22 from 10am to 12noon.

Slough Residents will be able to find out information on -

* Guidance and support with applying for jobs and career searching
* Learning about opportunities in developing employment skills further
* Discovering and considering new areas of Slough career possibilities
* Uncovering proactive tips to boost your applications
* Learn how you can benefit from numerous Slough projects and initiatives to help you get into work or training and enhance your employability.
* Network with professionals as well as potential employers who can offer information and guidance.
* Speak to other people in the same situation and benefit from shared experiences and advice.
* Find the motivation to create an individual action plan and set own goals.
