STEPS 2 Slough Employment

Slough Borough Council’s STEPS 2 Employment has organised an on-going job club every Thursday at Slough Library.

A number of Slough courses and workshops tailored to residents individual needs will be available soon, but in order to make sure everyone gets on the course it is best for them to go to the skills analysis workshop on October 8 from 10am to 11am at Slough Library.

Places are limited, so please book in advance on 01753 476620. Courses are free of charge.

Dayo Williams, STEPS 2 Employment co-ordinator for Slough Borough Council, said: “Anyone wishing to learn a new skill should come along to our skills analysis workshop to see which course would suit them best.

“STEPS 2 Employment has helped many people get into work or learn new skills, a commitment of the council to all residents in the borough.”

Commissioner for Slough opportunity and skills, Cllr Fiza Matloob, added: “The council is committed to helping residents either get back into work or teach them new skills to progress in their current employment.

“I hope many people will take advantage of these free courses over the coming months.”
