About us:
Slough museum is run by a friendly team of paid staff, volunteers and Trustees, all of whom are committed to preserving the fascinating history of Slough and its people. They are here to help you explore your own past within this ever-developing town and ensure that visitors to the area see what Slough really has to offer.
Slough Museum runs a number of free, fun children’s activities throughout the year. In addition we have many resources on offer all year round:
* Activity Table including pot mending
* Brass rubbing and brick bonds
* Activity Packs available to borrow during your visit
* Trails for the whole family to take you around the exhibition
* A computer for public access to our full collections database is also available in the Museum.
‘Hands On’, family activities are run on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons every school holiday. Activities are free and on a drop-in basis. Donations towards the cost of materials are welcomed.
We are also pleased to offer a range of Community & Outreach resources and services that can be booked and enjoyed in the museum or can come out to you at your meeting place.
