Police are hunting a group of young men who were involved in a robbery in Slough on Saturday night (11/7).
At about 9.30pm, a 15-year-old boy and his friends were walking in Burnham Lane, Slough when they were approached by a group of about 20 black and mixed race men aged between 14 and 20. One of the group asked the boy to hand over his mobile phone. As he did so, several members of the group punched him in the face, causing a broken nose and swelling to his jaw.
The group were all wearing dark clothing. Some also wore distinctive black bandanas with white swirls on which covered their faces.
PC Jo Bettington, of the Slough Priority Crime Team, said: “This was a particularly nasty robbery, leaving the victim with injuries that will require ongoing hospital treatment. If you were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, or you have any information about those responsible, please get in touch as soon as you can.”
