Thames Valley Slough Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed and assaulted in Langley on Tuesday (17/11).
The victim, a 25-year-old Asian man, had been travelling to Slough. He mistakenly got off the train in Langley and walked along the Goodman Park canal path, asking for directions.
After walking for around half a mile, he stopped to sit on a bench, when three men approached him and asked him for a light. When the victim stood up to get a lighter out of his pocket, one of the men punched him in the face and demanded his mobile phone. The other men held his arms behind his back and searched his pockets.
The men then tried to throw the victim into the Slough canal and made racist comments to him, before running off stealing his Nokia mobile phone, wallet, Dell laptop and bag and his French passport.
All three Slough men are black and around 20-years-old. The man who punched the victim is 5ft 8ins, with short, curly black hair. He was clean shaven and was wearing a brown hooded top and baggy blue jeans.
The second man is 6ft, with short, curly black hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing a white top and blue jeans. The third man, who put a balaclava on, was 5ft 8ins and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
