Retire in Slough five star luxury

Slough Borough Council, in partnership with Hanover Housing Association, will be holding an open day for residents next week for its new luxury retirement apartments in Slough.

Five star luxury for over-55′s.Northampton Place is affordable retirement housing for people who may or may not need extra care and the open day will be on Friday, August 15th from 11am to 4pm at The Centre.

The Slough development, which was built on the site of a former swimming pool, has been designed to provide over 55’s with the option of living in a contemporary serviced environment that meets their needs and aspirations.

Northampton Place provides an environment for people who wish to retain their independence for as long as possible, but who may need help and support on a regular basis now or in the future.

It will provide 56 one and two bedroom apartments with high specification living facilities in a stylish and relaxed environment, some of which can be rented and others bought.

Slough Residents will benefit from an exercise and therapy room, on-site shop and hair and beauty salon, in addition to the supporting features of a level access shower, a mobility scooter store and the fact it will be fully wheelchair accessible throughout.

There will also be 24/7 Hanover on-call-support providing residents with a reassuring emergency response service and an experienced care team, including Hanover’s support team, all of which help residents to maintain an independent approach to retirement living.

The open day is for anyone interested in buying or renting an apartments, and family members are also welcome to come and see the flats.

A show flat will be available to view.
