Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident in Slough on 28/2 in which a shotgun was discharged.
The Slough incident happened just after midnight in the bus station by the Brunel Roundabout on the A4. Armed police arrested a male nearby shortly afterwards and a shotgun was recovered. Police are seeking to confirm the age of the person arrested.
Slough DCI Joe Kidman, leading the investigation, said:, “We have no reports of any injuries but we know that other people were around at the time. We urgently need to speak to anyone that may have been in the area of the bus station around midnight, or who has information about the incident.”
Supt Chris Ward, of the Berks East BCU, said: “Our officers are highly skilled which was demonstrated in this incident by their quick and effective response.
“Incidents of this nature are thankfully rare and Slough remains a great place to live and work.”
