New business directory for Slough
Slough Borough Council is delighted to present its brand new business publication, which provides an excellent source of information for companies in the borough.
‘Slough Business Directory 2008/09’ is the first of its kind and offers vital information provided by both the council and key partner agencies, such as transport links, community statistics, local support for businesses and an A to Z of companies.
Slough is one of the top three most productive towns in the UK outside of London and home to a host of international brands, along with many small and medium size enterprises. The directory has been developed to support and encourage all of these local companies.
Rafiq Chohan, head of economic development, said: “We are really pleased with the directory and hope many companies make use of it.
“With so many businesses in the area, it is essential they are provided with an up-to-date and informative publication.”
Commissioner for economic inclusion, Cllr Derek Cryer, said: “We’re all very proud to be presenting this publication for companies in the area.
“Slough has been at the forefront of providing jobs since the 1920’s and has the ability to compete in competitive global markets.
“We are committed to supporting all local businesses and this is an important way of doing it.”
