Afternoon of Slough Polish plays

Slough library is delighted to announce that it will be hosting Slough’s first ever afternoon of plays for Polish children in the town.

The special event will be held in the children’s library and actors will be performing traditional children’s plays in Polish.

Performances will take place on Saturday 8th, between 12pm and 3pm and is free for children of all ages.

Salma Barakat, from Slough library, said: “We are really pleased that these actors will be performing at the library.

“We endeavour to hold events like these, which are aimed at children from all communities in Slough, so this is a fantastic opportunity for parents to bring along their children and enjoy some traditional Polish plays.”

Cllr Julia Long, commissioner for community services, said: “Libraries are a key service in our town, especially for our younger residents.

“Plays are a wonderful way of capturing children’s imagination and I’m sure the children will get much enjoyment from watching them.”
