Upton Court Park, Slough will host one of its largest ever public events in Slough as Music and Dance in the Park welcomes mega star Jools Holland and his 18 piece Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
Jools will be joined by special guests Marc Almond, Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall, along with an array of local and international acts, including the Magic of Motown.
Susan Duncan, events officer, Slough Borough Council, said: “If you haven’t got your tickets yet, I would urge you to quickly as we know there will be a mad rush in the week before the event and we wouldn’t want people to be disappointed.
“For this week only we are also giving away three hampers, so you can picnic in style at the event.”
Music and Dance in the Park is a family event, with Slough festival goers encouraged to arrive early with a picnic and blanket. There will also be a wide variety of food stalls and a licensed bar.

Gates open at 12 noon, with performances starting at 1pm culminating in Jools Holland taking to the stage at around 7.15pm for a full 90 minute set and fireworks to finish the event off in style.
Festival goers will be given a wrist band on entry and will be able to come and go during the day as they please, as long as they show their wrist band on re-entry.
