We are a family-run Equestrian Centre where all ages and all levels of experience are welcome.

About us:

Snowball Farm is a BHS and ABRS approved Riding School, livery and training centre. We are able to teach almost anyone to ride. A full range of Livery services are available and we hold a number of shows throughout the year.

We have lots of activities for adults and children ranging from Own a Pony day to summer camp. We also hold our own internal competitions for all standards in Dressage and Show Jumping most months.

We can teach anyone to ride as long as they are over 4 years old and under 14 stone!

For 4 years to 6 years old we have a Tots group where we teach a group lesson for half an hour. We require an adult present to lead each child in this group.

For 7 years and above, and for beginner adults we provide a discounted series of eight lessons each of half an hour duration. These are individual lessons on a one to one basis with an instructor. After these eight lessons most people are ready to join a regular one hour group class lesson. Individual private lessons can be continued if required.

We also offer private Cross Country and Show Jumping Course instruction.

Snowball Farm’s BHS qualified staff cater for all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced, on a large variety of well-schooled horses and ponies.

There are 2 large indoor schools, one outdoor Man?ge and a jumping paddock. A covered 5 horse Monarch horse walker. Full range of Livery Services from ponies at grass to stabled competition horses, with daily turn out. Stables range from 7′10 x 12′ to 12′ x 14′.

A British Eventing & Pre-Novice Cross Country course and two Riding Club courses situated within 130 acres of prime land all available to hire.

Riding Shop on site selling boots, hats, clothing, brushes, head collars etc. Most items not in stock can be ordered.
