A fun Slough music group for babies and toddlers.

About us:

Music with Mummy was developed in 1992 specifically for children aged 3 and under. Its main aim is to teach basic aspects of music to Slough pre-school children while having lots of fun!!

Each half term the Slough children are introduced to a different learning concept(such as loud and soft and up and down) through a new theme. The material used is a mixture of well-known songs and rhymes as well as music specifically composed for the classes.

All Slough classes last for 30 minutes and are limited to a small number of children (accompanied by an adult) in each group.

Each session is payable per child, half-termly in advance
The class takes place at Farnham Common Village Hall on a Wednesday at 10.15.

Further Slough classes will be run based on demand, therefore if Wednesdays are not convenient but you are interested in attending a class, please contact me.

Under the direction of its Musical Director, David Wilson, and its Chorus Master, Dr. Jonathan Williams, the Slough Philharmonic has built up an enviable reputation as one of the leading amateur music societies in the country.

The Chorus and Orchestra rehearse at 7:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays respectively at Priory School. Orchard Avenue, Slough.

Music for Slough aims to provide high quality and diverse music-making opportunities for 0-18 year olds in Slough, targeting young people in social, economic or educational need who might otherwise lack opportunity to make music.

Music for Slough works across a wide range of ways to make music, including music technology, DJ/MC skills, vocal skills, song creating, music production, band development, traditional and acoustic instruments.

Music for Slough works with young people from a wide variety of backgrounds, delivering projects in a range of settings including; youth centres, after school clubs, Sure Start centres, arts venues, with Young People at Risk and in Special needs settings.
