As the longest established independant Occupational Health and Safety provider, Corporate Health has a tradition of service to the people who generate the wealth for the UK business. Originally set up in 1947 as the Slough Industrial Health Service, it is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee without share capital.

Occupational Health is about the two-way relationship between work activities and the health of employees participating in those work activities.
Although more rigorous health and safety legislation has resulted in the virtual disappearance of many industrial diseases, the amount of time lost that is attributed to sickness is as great as ever.
Social change, new technology and new work practices have seen an increase in time lost to musculoskeletal complaints and emotional problems. Corporate Health is able to help companies and organisations to address these issues in a way that benefits worker and manager alike.
health and safety audit
Not every company has its own safety specialist. Even those that do have some in house expertise, sometimes see the need for independent corroboration of what is being done.
An independent audit will identify any weak areas where health and safety procedures are inadequate, or where resource is being wasted on ineffective or unnecessary procedures.

Relates to the Health & Safety Legislation specific to a client’s business operation and environment, and is carried out by a Health & Safety specialist whose objectives are to:
* Help ensure compliance with the appropriate legislation thus avoiding penalties for non-compliance.
* Minimise the risks of crippling litigation.
It Offers:
* Review of Current Health & Safety Policy.
* Walk Around Analysis.
* Report of Findings.
* Recommendations.
The Walk Around serves as an effective reminder for those persons who may have received some past training in Risk Analysis. For others it offers useful pointers for future use in their Health & Safety roles within their companies or organisations.
