Our storage rooms come in all shapes and sizes, from a wardrobe-sized space to bigger than your living room. So you can store as little or as much as you need to. To make things as easy as possible, we also have a wide range of packing materials available.

We provide short term storage or long term storage - which is ideal if you are moving home, decorating or just need somewhere to store the contents of your spare room or bulging cupboards. You are provided with a private storage room which puts you in control of your belongings.

At Big Yellow your safety and the security of your belongings is our first consideration. Our comprehensive security measures include 24 hour CCTV, sophisticated building alarm systems, computerised gated access and individually alarmed storage rooms monitored from our reception. For added security your room is locked with your own padlock (Full range available in store) to which you retain the only key.

Storage Tips

* Use good quality storage boxes. We sell cardboard and plastic boxes
* Fill boxes to capacity, as partially full or bulging boxes may tip or collapse
* Heavy items should be packed into small boxes so that they are easy to lift
* Label or number boxes for easy reference when you need to locate your goods
* Make up an inventory of your stored items and keep it in a safe place at home
* Protect your fragile goods in bubble wrap
