Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at a pawnbroker’s in Slough.
At about 5.35pm on Monday (15/2), two men entered Harvey & Thompson Pawnbrokers in the High Street, Slough. One man broke glass cabinets with a mallet; the other man, who was carrying a wrench, climbed over the counter and took items from the safe.
The Slough robbers, who stole an undisclosed amount of cash and jewellery, left the scene on bicycles. No-one was injured in the incident.
Both Slough robbers had their faces covered with scarves or masks, and were wearing high-visibility jackets.
One of the men is white. He was wearing a grey hooded top underneath a dark blue or black top, green or khaki trousers and black trainers. The other man was wearing dark blue jeans and white trainers.
Det Con Joshua Pitts of Slough CID said: "The High Street was busy at the time of the robbery and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and assist with our investigation."
